Bruce Campbell Beefcake

I've always liked Bruce Campbell, and not just because he brilliantly played one of the campiest horror roles ever in the whole Evil Dead series. He also wrote a book with one of the best titles ever - If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a "B" Movie Actor.

Those two things alone are enough to put him on my awesome list, but there's also the fact that every time I've heard an interview with him, he just seems to be a nice guy.

Happy Friday everyone!

Damn, I lead such a sheltered life. I've never heard of him.

Bruce Campbell is the KING!

If you're interested, he's in a TV show on USA called "Burn Notice." It premiered last night and is a really fun show. Bruce Campbell plays a loud mouth (what a suprise) ex-spy who helps out the main character.

The shows good and Campbell really adds to it. You should check it out.

Like the blog. The bear approves and is adding you to his link list.

Sara Sue - I've never seen Bubba Ho-Tep, but when I was finding pictures, I saw references to it and remember how I'd really wanted to see it and then, for reasons unknown, hadn't. But, now I will!

Mike - You've probably seen him. He's been in about a gillion movies and TV shows, but he never really went for the whole Hollywood thing. He's not likely to ever be photographed with Paris, Lindsey or Brittany or any of their exposed lady parts.

Drew - Welcome and thanks for the heads up on Burn Notice. I'll set up the DVR to catch.

Fer a while, it lookd like Bruce was hittin th Big Time -- wif The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. Too bad his time near th A-list was so short-livd.

Also, it wunt until I seen one o th early Evil Dead movies that I REALLY came to undrstand what Joe Bob Briggs always meant when he said of a film that it had "no plot to get in the way of the story."

And lets not ferget Bruces most importnt role as Fake Shemp.

Man, I remember Brisco County, Jr.
"Is that where you're from?"
"No, man, that's my name."
I don't remember if that was a good show or not, but I remember watching it when I was young.

That was a good show. I usually don't like big chins such as Leno, but Bruce I like.

It's Sunday & here I am worshipping at the Church of Phoebe Fay of the Semi-Nude Men. I've said it before, but I'll say it again - Ah! men.

Joey - Was Bruce's fake shemp the cameo in Darkman? MP just watched that the other day, but I only watched part of it, but he was talking about that final scene.

Angryman - I never saw Brisco County, Jr. Wonder if it's on netflix?

c. rag - You know what they say about guys with big chins...

Cissy - Glad to oblige. And sorry there wasn't more of the semi-nude. But, I'm sure I'll correct that later.
